$1,250,000 is provided in current estimates for

printing and binding but

(a) there has been a constant and substantial increase in the

cost of paper;

(b) much additional printing is necessary in connection with the compulsory enlistment programme and with the revised edition of the laws, and

(c) it has therefore been found impossible to keep monthly

commitments below an average of $200,000 a monti..

Finance Committee has approved a supplementary rovision of $750,000 for Head 38 Subhead 14 to cover excess costs until the end of December.
